Wedding teapot quilt

Description

I selected the colors for my version of Bernina’s 125th Anniversary quilt based on my mother’s wedding teapot from her marriage in 1944. I loved this teapot as a child because of its aegean beautiful mix of lusterware white, blue and hand painted gold designs. I thought it was the prettiest china I had ever seen so I wanted to capture its beauty in the Anniversary quilt design by Amanda Murphy. The pearlized gold and ivory fabrics of this collection celebrating Bernina”s 125th Anniversary offered me the opportunity to capture the beauty of my favorite teapot. I loved working with them and I hope you enjoy my quilt.
