How to Stitch Cord and Make Piping: Free Video Tutorial
Don’t you love it when one foot can be used for several techniques? BERNINA’s Double Cording Feet can be used to stitch two cords together or to fabric, and can also be used to attach just one cord. My favorite technique for these feet is making piping (covered cord). The large channels in the soles of these feet make them excellent choices for holding fabric-wrapped cord as it moves through the machine. Available in two sizes: Double Cording Foot #59/59C is designed for 4 mm- to 6 mm-diameter cord, while #60/60C accommodates 7 mm- to 8-mm-diameter cord.
