Fabric Bin Video Tutorial
The Squared Elements Fabric Bin was sewn on a BERNINA 380 and features Squared Elements and Pure Element fabric, collections by Art Gallery Fabrics. Squared Elements is one of our blender collections that mix and match well with all of our fabric collections! Our Pure elements are amazing solids that also pairs back beautifully with all of our collections and blenders as well!
In the Squared Element Bin project we learn to program letters and numbers and to create boxed corners. You can also choose what size bin you would like to make depending upon what you plan on storing in your bin. This project is so much fun using our fun teal, turquoise, and carbon Squared Element prints and mixing them back with their matching pure elements lining for a pop of color. Have fun choosing your favorite color Squared Elements as we are sure we have a color you will fall in love with! Happy Sewing!

In the video the size gusset was 1 1/2 inches for a medium bin, what size is used for the small and large bins.
thank you for the video.
Hello sysmma,
The same gusset size is used for all three size bins! Hope this helps! Happy Sewing!
The size for the small bin must be wrong. Should it be 6×12?
is the small bin 6 x 12?
Hello dollyb the smallest bin in this tutorial begins with a 6″ x 6″ square of fabric which is sewn together at the sides. The final bin will measure closer to 3″ square at the bottom, just big enough to hold your seam ripper, thread snips, and tweezers at your sewing machine.
thank you, I will go with the medium.
Great tutorial! Thank you.
