Sew to Serve: Snuggles Project
The Snuggles Project benefits animal shelters and the many homeless animals they serve. Sometimes shelters can have an industrial feel to them, and giving a frightened animal a soft Snuggle can provide a calming effect, one that the Snuggles Project feels has helped to save the lives of many sheltered animals.
You can help by volunteering your time to sew, knit, or crochet a Snuggle blanket to donate to participating shelters. Or, get your friends involved too by hosting a Snuggles sewing party! Read more at the Snuggles Project for pattern ideas, details about finished blanket sizes, and where to donate.
