Susan Brubaker Knapp

Susan Brubaker Knapp is a fiber artist, teacher, author, photographer, and the host of “Quilting Arts TV,” a show carried on about 400 Public Television stations across the U.S. She embraces innovative machine techniques and surface design and embellishment, but also enjoys traditional hand quilting, needleturn applique and contemporary embroidery. Her primary art quilt techniques are wholecloth painting and fusible applique, with heavy free-motion thread sketching on the surface before quilting. Much of her work is inspired by her original photos, which she shares on Instagram with the hashtag #BeautyOnMyMorningWalk.
