Quilting In Support Of Leukemia Patients
Quilts 4 Leukaemia needs help to give comfort to Leukaemia patients acrosss the globe. Their mission of sending out quilts made with red and white blocks (to represent blood cells) all began when the founder of Quilts 4 Leukaemia watched a family member diagnosed with a rare form of Leukaemia fight through several painful courses of chemotherapy.
You can help by piecing red and white blocks to send to Quilts 4 Leukaemia which will be transformed into finished quilts and sent on to give some warmth and snugness to a patient in need of comfort. Read more at the official Quilts 4 Leukaemia website.

Oh wow! What a mention! Thank you so much. I’m feeling very guilty as I sewed my heart out last year and haven’t done one this this year. However, I’d still like to receive blocks 8.5″ square. The blog is more up to date than the web site. http://quilts4leukaemia.blogspot.fr. Thank you so much x
