My favorite quick gift to sew are wine stem coasters. They can be used as ordinary coasters for regular glasses, but for stemware, you can slip the coaster onto the base of the stem. It’s great for parties because no one forgets whose glass is whose and it’s harder for someone to accidentally take someone else’s wine. I have some made up in various colors, so each guest can match the coaster to their outfit.
