It seems to be the one time out of the year that everyone’s crafty thumb comes out, as we try to please our kids childlike desires to become their favorite character, animal, or spooky creature. I made this “Flip Flop” quilt a number of years ago. My son Matthew’s friend Alexis came over to help me make the quilt. We painted her feet and it did take a couple of tries but we were able to put them on the material without too many imperfections.
My neighbor’s flowers were being taken…just the tops…and she was baffled. Where could they be? Maybe a furry critter was eating them? We laughed and decided the mystery was solved.
