I made this “Flip Flop” quilt a number of years ago. My son Matthew’s friend Alexis came over to help me make the quilt. We painted her feet and it did take a couple of tries but we were able to put them on the material without too many imperfections.
My neighbor’s flowers were being taken…just the tops…and she was baffled. Where could they be? Maybe a furry critter was eating them? We laughed and decided the mystery was solved. The situation tickled my funny bone so I wrote it down as a children’s mystery story. Then I thought, “What about the critter’s story?”
