I love making these pillows. All of my grandkids have some for their bedrooms and they love to cuddle up with them. For this pillow I used two pieces of fleece and embroidered one with a design from OESD’s “Words of Whimsy” embroidery collection #12292.
I just finished a cute and trendy wallhanging featuring embroidery designs from OESD’s “Stitch ‘n Bloom” Crafters Collection #20001. The designs begin to bloom stitch-by-stitch and, as they build, truly look like they were sewn by hand using embroidery floss – in a fraction of the time.
Here’s a peek at some of the projects I’ve been stitching with the new embroidery collections, Bold & Beautiful and Stitches ‘n Bloom. Both are beautiful as well as versatile. Look for them at your local BERNINA dealership.
Boy, did I have fun creating this pillow using the three-dimensional designs in OESD’s Chrysanthemum Premier Collection #017! Parts of the design are heavily stitched, and when the embroidery is complete you simply cut through the stitches with a very sharp knife to make them “bloom.”
OESD Victorian Frills Appliqué Signature Design Collection #12364 is filled with beautiful machine embroidery appliqué designs including cut files for the BERNINA CutWork tool.
I’m getting a jump start on my New Year organization with these new, sturdy Isacord thread trays — they happen to fit perfectly in this deep drawer and stack easily as well. The Isacord thread cones snap onto the tray, so it’s easy to lift out without spilling!
Got a baby shower coming up and not sure what to give the mother? This burp cloth is made using a cloth diaper and features a cute design from OESD’s “Words of Whimsy” embroidery collection #12292.
