Visit our blog each day  to answer the holiday-related question. We’ll pick a name at random from each day’s comments.

Today’s Question

  1. Well my kids are my precious exotic shorthairs cats, I can’t have children so I make these little guys crochet toys and attach baby little bells on them. The toys are spirals chains about 5 inches long. Make the kitties happy!

  2. My favorite children’s gift to make is a small baby quilt for expected new arrivals. I make either gender neutral color choices or coordinate with the planned nursery colors.

  3. I like to make pillowcases! It’s so hard to keep up with the books, toys, games etc. they already have but they all can use more than one pillowcase- especially in fabrics that reflect their interests or coordinate with their room’s décor.

  4. It’s a tie for my all time favorite… for a very young one I enjoy making small quilts. For a little older child, I enjoy making fabric cards/fabric books using bright colors/shapes.

  5. Flannel jammie pants! My mother-in-law before me made them for her only son and all the nephews and nightgowns for the nieces, then for her only grandkids (our kids). She’s gone now, so I’m carrying on the tradition!

  6. I like making little quilts. The babies can lay on them, the tots can curl up in them on the couch or in their crib, the bigger ones can make forts with them!

  7. My comment is maybe not such a nice one. I have been trying since the first to find these posts. The link sent by Bernina to my email takes me somewhere else, and once I get here I am 24 hours too late to be part of the “fun”. This is not fun at all. Is there a way to make the links work better?
Just askin. After all this is a busy time of year.

    1. You can go directly to http://www.weallsew.com to enter the contest every afternoon. I think there was only a link for the first day, so that might be why you aren’t landing in the right place. The latest one will always be in one of the top 2-3 positions on the home page. Jo
