  1. Every year I try to add one more hand-sewn decoration or tree ornament. This year I am working on a small table mat, about 18″ square, with appliqued snowmen. But lots of my projects end up as gifts!

  2. Yes I try to make something every year for my house. And then someone sees it and wants it, so I usually end up giving it to them. I always tell myself I will make myself another one when I get time after Christmas, but so far my list for myself just keeps getting longer and longer. At least I know they will enjoy it and think about me every Christmas when they run across the item. : )

  3. I have lots of things that I have sewn over the years that I love to put up each year. I usually make one or two new things each year just for fun, IF, I have time!!!

  4. Yes! The holidays wouldn’t be the same without the hummmm of my BERNINA! New stockings this year for my grandkids and newest nephew. Lace embroidery designs to go with the ribbons to personalize each and every gift. Embroidered kitchen linens I use to ‘wrap’ my baked goods…. that’s just the start!!

  5. In my limited way, yes! I’m more of an aspirational sewer than an inspirational one at this point, but I’m getting better by the month (I wouldn’t say by the day). I like fairly simple decorative projects, with elegant, clean lines.

  6. I have made decorations at different times, particularly when the kids were small. We still have a set of felt and embroidered Care Bear ornaments I made in the early 80s. Now that we have a granddaughter, I have a good reason to “refresh” our decorations!

  7. So far this year I have made some embroidered decorative pillows and a set of placemats to decorate for the holidays! I need to make a new tree skirt and stocking as well.

  8. Every year I try to find new fabrics for Xmas placemats that I make. Every year is different then after Christmas dinner with friends I have a little drawing for who wins the placemats! It’s fun and different.

  9. Yes! I so enjoy Christmas sewing. I made patchwork Christmas stockings, patchwork Christmas tree ornaments, lace machine embroidered Christmas tree ornaments, table runners, and a few Christmas panel wall hangings.
