My favorite gift is something embroidered, like a dish towel or a gift bag.

It’s got to be Christmas stockings – I’ve just made a load of the fronts in the jumbo hoop. They have robins with Santa hats on, sitting on top of monograms and I’ll sew them together by hand later on this week for the family to have as placemarkers at the table on Christmas Day. If I get time I’ll upload the project on to the UK Bernina Blog.

Favorite gift to make is cookies and jars of home made hot chocolate, the cookies are a fruitcake cookie and are amazing! Everyone who hated fruitcake fell in love with these cookies!

I usually try and match the project to the person who will receive the gift. I’ve made wall hangings, lap quilts, mug rugs, placemats and napkin sets. I’ve also tried to stay away from Christmas related fabrics so the gift can be used year round. Sally Smith

Mug rugs!!! I make them for birthday, thank you, thinking of you gifts. These are used by friends that may not drink coffee or tea but do drink hot chocolate and hit cider.

My favorite holiday gift to make is free-pieced and quilted potholders. I learned how to make them in a Craftsy class a couple of years ago. Everyone I have given them to loves them.

Probably my most favorite gift to make and give is the home made cookie plates. All the receipents love them and look forward to them each year.
