Amanda Leins

Mandy is a quilter, author, and teacher living in upstate New York with her fella, kids, and dog. A former classical archaeologist, her quilts and designs are heavily influenced by her studies and travels, and she is always looking for ways to connect the work of her hands in the present with the past. Her first book, Wanderlust Quilts is a piecing skill-builder that blends intermediate and advanced techniques with modern quilt design, and she teaches piecing and quilting (both sit-down and longarm) nationally.
