Introducing Sewing Celebrity Mimi Goodwin!
This week and the following we are visiting with our BERNINA Sewing Celebrity, Mimi Goodwin, of Los Angeles, CA. This WAS Sewing Expert and founder of popular blog Mimi G. Style learned how to sew at the age of 12. Like many of us, she began her career as a young Barbie doll clothes designer using her aunt’s scraps. Seeing her excitement, her dad bought her a sewing machine, her first, and she has been hooked ever since.
The Mimi G. Style blog, with its mantra “buy it, make it, mix it, rock it,” is unique in that it gives readers tips on fashion and wardrobe ensembles as well as DIY apparel reviews and tutorials. Her fans are inspired by her “Daily Looks” as Mimi posts a picture and guide to her unique style of the day that incorporates many of the items she has made herself.
