How to upcycle a button up shirt into an off-the-shoulder top

Materials for up cycling a button up shirt into an off the shoulder top and/or dress
- Button up shirt (a few sizes bigger than the wearer)
- Tailors chalk
- Grid ruler
- Fabric scissors
- 1/4″ elastic (enough to wrap around the wearers shoulders)
- Fabric pins
- Iron
- Universal size 14 home sewing needle
- All purpose thread
- BERNINA 1008
