Sewing Some Love for Boston

The Vancouver Modern Quilt Guild (VMQG) knows how makers like to use their own special skills to help those in need. And so, the VMQG has begun a project for sewists all over the world to come together and offer a little love for Boston, To Boston With Love. Sew up a small flag using the themes of love, peace, and harmony (check out some of the flags already created at the To Boston With Love flickr group), and the flags will all be strung together to be displayed in Boston later in June. Visit the To Boston With Love blog post for all the details including a flag making how-to and links to tutorials. This is a quick project that can even be made from your scrap bin or stash, and the more flags made, the bigger the impact. All flags need to be mailed to the VMQG by May 21 to be included in the project, so get inspired and get stitching!
