We celebrated Christmas this past weekend so our children could celebrate with their children on Christmas Day. They have all gone home and my husband is having to work this week, so I will definitely be sewing tonight. 🙂

A stocking for my husband, a new christmas tree skirt, and sadly repairing some of my friend’s Christmas display that vandals destroyed last night.

No, I don’t sew in the last few days before Christmas. Too much else to do! But I am always so happy to get back into my sewing room by the 27th or so. A day without sewing makes me cranky, except at the holidays.

We celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve so no sewing tonite. But, on Christmas day I plan to start quilting a quilt for our daughter that I finished piecing earlier this week. Her birthday is in January.

Maybe, it depends if I finish my 2 Christmas stockings or not. I am blessed that I am retired, so I sew pretty much everyday! Love it!!

I have two more pillows to finish up. Just a couple hours of work. Gave up on the other projects I had hoped to finish by now. . 🙁 They will just have to be late ‘surprise’ packages in the recipients mail. I’m telling myself that will make them more fun to receive an unexpected gift on an unexpected day – just because.
