Actually it is hard for me to pick a favorite project, as I love them all. Lately, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying in the hoop (ITH) projects. But I also enjoy ME on dish towels and leaving in the kitchen of the hostess who invites us for dinner.

I just learned how to embroider labels using the techniques and accessing the information “I” on my Bernina. It’s opened up such creative possibilities. . Now it’s become my favorite embroider project.

I’ve made probably 100 personalized baby bibs using the baby’s name and a sweet applique on a handmade bib. I loved making a memory block for my Grandmother, my Mother and my Godparents,( 2 lively little old sisters) who raised me and made my life one of enchantment! I put flowers that reminded me of each of them and a bible scripture on them that reminded me of each of them and that they each had in some way passed on to me to make my life better and brighter! One of my favorite projects is to make varied free standing lace snowflakes on my Bernina 630. I donate them to our church Craft Fair held in November. They are so pretty hanging on Christmas trees or inside greeting cards … even on those special gifts for special people.

My favorite machine embroidery project to make recently is FSL Christmas ornaments, particularly snowflakes. I had no idea what FSL even meant, lol. Once I googled it and found some great free standing lace designs and good water soluble stabilizer I was able to easily stitch a bunch of gorgeous ornaments. If I do a few here and there I’ll have plenty of easy, cute gifts for people as well as decor for the end of the year!

I enjoy making personalized wineglass slips. I make a set of 4 as gifts. The wineglass slips wrap around the foot of the glass, and I embroider the giftee’s name / initials / small flower on the Free Standing Lace FSL wineglass slips. The wineglass slips helps to identify people’s wineglass during a party.

I love all your projects and I have enjoyed embroidery on Cork. Who knew!
I wonder if you have made a dust cover for your embroidery module. I was keeping it in the suitcase I got with it, but I would rather just have it handy on a side table but I would like a cover for it. I’m sure I could make up a pattern, but if you have already done one, I would love to see what you did. I’m sure it would say something smart on it!

I like making embroidered towels for quick gifts. Everyone can always use another towel. My mom makes aprons from the ones I make for her.
