I would like to be able to make embroidered denim “hobo” style “distressed” handbags to recycle old jeans. The mind boggles at the endless variety of motifs, trailing vines, monograms, paisleys, medallions, animals, sugar skulls, flowers and anything a person wanted on them. They could be “pursonalized” before sewing together in a crazy quilt kind of pattern or patchwork including old lace and colorful linings….Every purse would be unique works of art…high school and college girls would LOVE them and if I purchased the jeans at thrift shops and yard sales my “fabric” would be affordable and thus my creations could sell for reasonable prices….I’m not in business yet but my new Bernina 770 QE AE has opened my eyes to awesome creative possibilities!
