Zipper Sweatshirt

Materials to Upcycle A Sweater with Zipper Insertion

• Old shirt
  • Any pullover style in need of an up-cycle
• Zipper
  • Closed at end, non separating
  • 9″ zipper with exposed teeth
• Chalk
• Tula Pink fabric scissors
• Ruler
• Pins
• Stretch needles
• Mettler polyester thread
  • Matching thread color
• BERNINA sewing machine, we sew on a BERNINA 1008
