  1. First, a massive reorganization has to happen. My sewing space has become Santa’s workshop. Then I would love to finish all of the Christmas projects that were struck from the list (tree skirt, stockings, pillows, etc.)

  2. My sewing plans for the remainder of 2014 are to clean out my sewing room. It is really a mess from sewing Christmas projects and gifts. Once I clean my sewing area I might find some hidden unfinished project that needs to be finished.
Merry Christmas and thanks for having this contest.

  3. When I not celebrating with family and friends, I’m planning to finish working on the projects that I’ve started this year. I have 2 Bonnie Hunter quilts in progress as well as 4 quilts that need quilting. There isn’t enough time in the day to finish everything, so my UFO’s hopefully will be finished in 2015! Have a Merry Christmas!

  4. Since I cannot sew right now due to recently having rotator cuff surgery, I’m making a list of different projects I want to do. I also want to take as many classes as I can, watch as many videos as I can, so that I can utilize all of the wonderful aspects of owning a Bernina 830. I’ve been accumulating some fabrics and embroidery patterns as I want to get a head start on the NEXT holiday season. This one has seemed so sad as I was unable to make the many gifts that I’ve had in my head! Thank you for all of the ideas that you pass along to us!

  5. I still have a few aprons to make for my mom’s house. When all her grand daughters are there that play with hers.. 3 & 5 year olds need their own. Then my machine needs to go in for a check up.

  6. Being 400 plus miles away from the sewing room is difficult. There is a set of drapes waiting to be shortened as soon as I get back. New bedroom look for the New Year!

  7. After time with family and friends, it will be time to clean and declutter the sewing room in preparation for all the projects that are planned for 2015.

  8. The remainder of 2014? First clean and organize the sewing room, after a couple of intense months of sewing for a wedding and trip to Ireland. Then finish up a few projects still about, so that i can start 2015 fresh and ready to start on a new spring wardrobe

  9. My sewing plans for the remainder of this year – I just hope to find a few minutes to get to my sewing room. I’d love to finish piecing a quilt but there is a lot going on here so we’ll see! January and quieter times are coming…

  10. Actually , I’m packing up my Artista 730 to take with me to California! We are driving from Florida, and staying for 7 months. Couldn’t possibly be without my machine for that long !!! Happy sewing every one

  11. I have been trying to go through scraps of fabric (which I hoard) and cut them into usable sizes for scrappy quilts. If I can get all my scraps cut and sorted I will be a happy quilter. Thanks for the great giveaways.

  12. My sewing plans for the remainder of 2014 include re-arranging the furniture in my sewing room to allow for a better work flow, and then finishing the appliqué on a Halloween wall hanging and continuing work on a Hoopsisters quilt.

  13. I’ve been sitting sewing on binding to my table runner. I actually have more Christmas gifts to sew. They’re going to be just a tad bit late but I can’t stop now. I’m so close to being finished!!!

  14. I plan to continue working on my current quilt project; I’d like to get it finished before I begin a new project in a class in January. Somehow, I doubt that I’ll make it to that goal. LOL!

  15. Work on completing the applique for my City an Guilds grand finale; make at least one fabric postcard; work on a teaching sample with Jamie Fingal’s new fabric

  16. I’m going to sew a purse for my mother-in-law. I was trying to finish it before the family got together on Tuesday night, but was unable to do so (I had another gift for her, just to be safe). I’d like to finish her purse and give it to her next week!

  17. I will be taking apart, and adding new blocks,to a couple of quilt my grandparents made for me to remake into quilts for my 4 kids so they have something that their great grandparents made.

  18. I may sew a few ‘thank you’ cards using fabric scraps or I may have my Bernina cleaned and
get a routine maintenance before the beginning of the new year.

  19. I have some blocks cut out ready to be sewn together and sent to my sister. And a friend is retiring in February; I’ve got the quilt top sewn & I’ll be testing out how to quilt it. Merry Christmas.

  20. I hope to get 3 birthday toppers sewn and quilted, along with a small embroidered pillow cover for my youngest daughter. Thank you for all of the chances for prizes. Merry Christmas!

  21. My plans….I hope to continue to organize and sort my studio first. Then, I want to make a couple jackets for me and finish some wedding gifts for my nephew and his wife. And if time permits, work on some “PHDs”.

  22. I’m going to clean my sewing room after all the Christmas sewing, and I predict that that will take the rest of 2014. Then I’ll start a quilt in 2015. Happy Holidays everyone!
