“Leaves in Contrast” Jacket Upcycle

I had a jacket in my closet that I had never worn. It needed something to liven it up. So I decided to stitch a design on the collar. OESD’s Design Studio Platinum Collection #61043 “Leaves in Contrast” by Bayberry turned out to be just perfect! I scanned the jacket, and then brought the picture of the jacket onto the screen of the BERNINA Embroidery Software 6. The first thing I did at that point was digitize a placement line around the edges of the jacket. Then I fussy-placed the designs where I wanted them. 

I hooped OESD AquaMesh Plus by itself, peeled off the paper and stitched that first placement line. Then I placed the collar inside the placement lines – and perfect placement!
