Perfect Satin Stitch Embroidery
November 14, 2011 Debra Rutledge
While working on my latest project assignment, I was reminded of one of the many reasons I adore machine embroidery. The project is an appliqué technique and the satin stitches are turning out perfectly… much better than I could ever do on my own. The stabilizer that I like to use for my appliqué projects is OESD Ultra Clean & Tear stabilizer. Ultra Clean & Tear stabilizer tears away easily, even in the smallest areas, and fibers are left underneath the embroidery stitches to give continued support in my projects. Also, the pieces of stabilizer that are too small for me to remove wash away in the laundry. Visit your BERNINA & OESD dealer to learn more about machine embroidery and OESD stabilizers.
