Sewpreneur is WeAllSew’s newest series specially designed for sewers and crafters who want to take their passion for creating and turn it into a profitable business. Every month Olivia Omega marketing/branding expert, sewer, entrepreneur and blogger at LaughLivLove.com will be interviewing a Sewpreneur and sharing business inspiration, tips and resources just for you.
Olivia learned to sew from her mom at a young age and started her first business creating decorative stuffed animals at the age of 13 (well before Build-A-Bear Workshop hit the scene). In 2007 she launched a line of baby t-shirts that were featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show just months after the her first prototype. With over 14 years of marketing, branding and advertising experience, Olivia now works independantly as a personal branding and freelance social media consultant. She enjoys helping women formulate ideas for their business and brand themselves by ʺbottling their expertiseʺ. Her book ʺThe Girls Guide to Personal Brandingʺ does just that.
The Sewpreneur series combines two of her passions – entrepreneurship and sewing. Learn more about her entrepreneurial journey in the video below.
