Location: Chicago, IL - western suburbs

Hobbies: quilting, sewing, cooking, collecting Bordallo pottery

Favorite Type of Sewing: piecing traditional blocks with modern fabric

I started quilting and sewing when my second child was born. Then, the online community did not exist. I learned through books, classes, and lots of unstitching! What started with a bernette and scraps of fabric has turned into a BERNINA 790 Plus and a roomful of fabric. For me, I love the process - selecting a pattern, auditioning fabric, cutting and sewing the fabric, quilting (domestic and long arm), and binding. Previously, I worked at a quilt store and owned a t-shirt quilt business. My degree is in Psychology from UCLA. I am so thankful to work with BERNINA USA doing what I love. And I always look forward to showing my latest projects to my husband James and three kids – Andrew, Emma and Sarah.
