Julie Bridgeman

Julie Bridgeman is an Education Specialist with BERNINA of America and a self-taught sewist who learned her craft through books and quilt shop classes – long before the online sewing community existed. While she enjoys creating home decor projects and machine embroidery, her true passion is quilting. Julie’s work inspires sewists across the country and around the world through social media, virtual classes, and in-person retreats. Her sewing journey has taken her from working at a local BERNINA dealer to owning a t-shirt quilt business, and, ultimately, to collaborating with an incredible team at BERNINA of America in the Chicago area, where she lives with her family. For Julie, sewing is more than a hobby – it’s about creativity, community, and giving.
